Base Ball.—The votaries of this manly and exhilirating pastime are preparing for the fray on quite an extended scale. Meetings of the various clubs, for the election of officers and appointing the days of practice, are being held almost daily, making it apparent that the ensuing campaign willb e one of unusual interest. In order that our readers may be kept posted in regard to all matches to be played, we have delegated one of our reporters to attend all such meetings and report the same ; therefore, we shall feel obliged to the secretaries of the different clubs if they will keep us advised in reference to matches to take place, and all other matters that would be of itnerest to the fratnerity generally. |
