The Waterbury Connors were formed during the winter of 2005 and began play in April of 2005. The team specializes in the style of play common to the early 1860s, although it is open to playing by all rules prior to the advent of overhand pitching in the 1880s. For its inaugural season the club will play a schedule that includes the reigning NEVBBL champion Bristol Blues, Melrose Pondfeilders, Essex BBC, Lynn Live Oaks, Coventry Citizens, and the Hartford Dark Blues, as well as tournaments in Lowell, MA, South Windsor, CT, and Old Bethpage Village on Long Island. The club's name honors Roger Connor, one of Waterbury's greatest athletes. For more information on Roger Connor click on the links below.
